From the Field – India
India May 26, 2015
This is directly from the field as I am having a great time in India serving the Lord for the first week. Here is the rundown so far in the BELC:
•Taught 15 of the students at Martin Luther Bible School a segment on ‘Doing the Work of an Evangelist’ and assigned homework for when I see them next.
•Baptized ten people from the Voddlakuppam congregation.
•Taught 64 of our pastors in the Koppedu/Uthukottai Districts in a meeting on ‘Doing the Work of an Evangelist’ and encouragement from Elijah’s life.
•Baptized Pastor Soma’s children Jennifer and Justin.
•Gave closing VBS devotion at Lawrence Muthu’s congregation for 80 kids plus adults. Recitations and dances and songs were all part of the program.
•Gave closing VBS devotion at Kanakaraj’ congregation for over 100 kids plus adults. And the program there was even more than at Muthu’s. It is just great to be a small part of it.
•Taught 23 of our pastors at the Chittoor meeting on five chapters in Daniel and encouragement from Elijah.
•In the next eleven days ten district meetings are set up to allow me to teach on.
And it is just great to be out among the people and hearing the news. M. Das who was with us then left and now is back to teach illiterate tribals. He was a dedicated man before and is welcome back. Hemanth Kumar the second youngest pastor(30) in the Sri Kalahasti district is getting married. Pastors Sigamani and Novakasi went to be with the Lord. ‘From victory unto victory His army shall he lead…’
